Novak Djokovic’s stunning victory at Wimbledon last week against Nick Kyrgios saw him lifting his 4th consecutive Wimbledon title, 88th overall title. He has won it all before 35 and is still going strong on the path to becoming Tennis’s most successful individual. Time and again he has proved he is among the best players tennis has ever witnessed.

The Serb won the title in the same year which started as a nightmare for him when he was not allowed to participate in the Australian Open and was deported back from the country after many days of drama in the court proceedings. Tennis streets have again started talking about the flashbacks of the Australian Open because the uncertainty of whether he will play in the US Open has become the talk of the town, the Serb is still not allowed to enter e USA due to his unvaccinated status.

Flavio Cobolli believes Novak Djokovic’s participation in the US Open will be better for the tournament

Flavio Cobolli is an Italian professional player who has a career-high singles ranking of World No. 143 who has been knocked out of the Internazionali di Verona (Challenger tournament on red clay) in straight sets by Francesco Maestrelli 3-6, 2-6.

After his victory in the round of 16 against fellow countryman Andrea Pellegrino, the blue tennis player who spoke to OA Sport. Cobolli began the interview by talking about his success in earlier rounds in the tournament on many other topics and also gave his opinions on Djokovic’s situation.

 “I’m not sure how to behave, but I believe that seeing the strongest player in history being out of the top 20 at the end of the year is not good, for tennis and will certainly weigh on us all. In my opinion, it is right to let him play in America because it is also thanks to him that the tournaments are even more beautiful,” he said.
