Novak Djokovic has been one of the most consistent and dominant people on Tour for the last two years. With three Grand Slam titles and the ATP Finals to his name, he also ended the season as World No. 1 and looks to continue this momentum next year as well.

Rick Macci, the former coach of Serena Williams, also believes that Djokovic will defend all his Grand Slam titles next year.

He hilariously tweets that there won’t be any change of guard as Novak is still playing. The Serbian has been nothing but sensational throughout the year. He did lose his last two matches of the year against Jannik Sinner, but those who know the 36-year-old know that he comes back stronger after a loss to achieve something even better.

The 36-year-old has seven titles to his name this year out of eight finals, making him one of the best players of the season to manage to win most of the title shot opportunities. Not only Macci, but other tennis enthusiasts also believe that Djokovic can manage another year of title wins.

Novak Djokovic named one of the top 20 people of 2023 by Colombian Newspaper

2023 was a hit year for the 36-year-old Serbian, who managed to continue the level of tennis he has been showing throughout the years. He did not win many awards for the season, but to the delight of his fans, he was named one of the top 20 people of 2023 by a Colombian newspaper.

He was named along with the likes of Taylor Swift and King Charles for his feat of 24 Grand Slam titles and crossing 400+ weeks as No. 1.

Djokovic will now feature in an exhibition match alongside his rival Carlos Alcaraz, and that will close out his matches for 2023. With 2024 looming, all the playing will look to make its mark early in the year.

With many players like Rafael Nadal returning to the format, Djokovic hopes to face his long-time rival one more time. They have faced 59 times before and hopefully can play more times in the year. Interestingly, it is also a Golden Slam, and the Serbian has already started to make it 4 out of 4 along with the Olympics as well.
