American tennis legend Serena Williams is known for her many achievements on the court. Over the 27 years of her career, Williams has won multiple tournaments and titles, putting her among the greatest of athletes.
Williams won over 73 singles titles, including 23 singles Grand Slam titles. With such a record, Williams might often forget to keep track of them. Luckily for her, Alexis Ohanian, her husband, is right behind, keeping her titles safe whilst showing them off to the world.
In a recent Instagram video, Ohanian gave a short tour of his and his wife’s trophies. Although Williams has most of the trophies in the house, the entrepreneur himself has a couple of trophies. Whilst touring, Ohanian revealed that even after multiple failed attempts, he cannot get his wife to keep track of her achievements.
So these are not all of Serena's Grand Slam trophies, obviously. She doesn't even keep track of them all. It's one of the things I've tried to change frankly since we started dating and got married. She's never really cared, said Alexis Ohanian in the Instagram video
In the video, the entrepreneur showed the world some of Williams’ trophies, including the prestigious US Open trophy, and many more. That was one of her six US Open trophies, and Ohanian, who is a collector of his wife’s prized possessions, takes good care of them.
Alexis Ohanian continues to add to the ‘Serena Collection’ as he hunts down rare cards of his wife
Co-founder of Reddit and Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian is doing a side hustle of adding to the ‘Serena Williams collection’. Ever since the 90s, Ohanian had been an avid collector of cards, making it his hobby.
Over time, he has collected many rare cards of his wife, as one of them was shown in a recent Instagram video of his. The card was the Serena Williams 2003 NetPro Elite Glossy collection. It fetched around 96,000 dollars in the previous auctions, and Ohanian gifted it to his wife.
Soon, he managed to collect more cards, before finally having more than 250 cards of Williams. Recently, he bid for another rare card, that is sure to go up on the Williams collection.
