Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, has recently commented on a video of LeBron James where he can be seen ‘embarrassing’ his daughter Zhuri by calling her by her nickname during a basketball game in her school. Alexis Ohanian, “I felt this dad energy,” while watching the video as he himself does these things with his daughter too.
Recently, Alexis also posted a video on X (formerly known as Twitter) where he was playing golf with his daughter. The American entrepreneur celebrated his daughter’s putt by calling her by her nickname. He shared a picture of Olympia playing golf with the caption “Daddy Caddy Sundays” and later, posted a video of her making the putt with the caption “I don’t try to embarrass her, it just happens.”
Olympia was shy when Alexis called her by her nickname. Apparently, all dads are the same deep down and that is how he could resonate with LeBron James.

The 40-year-old has a major inclination toward sports, especially Golf. The American recently revealed that his elder daughter’s love for the sport has made him an even greater enthusiast. Thus, he and his wife, Serena Williams, ended up buying the Los Angeles Golf Club, the first franchise golf club of the TGL league.
Alexis Ohanian’s bond with daughters
Alexis Ohanian first met Serena Williams in 2015 and they got engaged a year later, in 2016. They welcomed their first daughter Olympia in September 2017 and got married two months later, in November. They had their second daughter, Adira River Ohanian, in August 2022.
Alexis Ohanian has a particularly great relationship with his elder daughter. He is always there to take her to golf fields and support her. His social media feed is enough to get a hint about it and goes on to prove it.
