American tennis legend Serena Williams has been rather busy with her various ventures since ending her glorious career last year. Partnering with Invisible Universe, Williams has announced the launch of a new animated children’s show called ‘Dance with Qai Qai’. The show is inspired by her daughter Olympia’s favorite doll, Qai Qai, and aims to motivate young viewers to dance along with the doll as she showcases her signature moves.

Serena Williams expressed her enthusiasm for the show, stating, “As a family who loves to dance, I know I’ll be right next to my daughter practicing our new moves.” The show’s primary goal is to teach children Qai Qai’s unique dance steps while encouraging families to spend quality time together dancing.

Dance with Qai Qai will feature a variety of seasonal and kid-centric themes, building upon the doll’s existing popularity on TikTok and Instagram. Each episode will showcase Qai Qai’s signature dances, inviting young viewers to join in and learn the moves themselves. By incorporating interactive elements, Dance with Qai Qai encourages active participation and promotes physical activity among children.

Back In 2018, Serena Williams introduced Qai Qai, a doll created as a gift for her daughter Olympia, to social media. The Qai Qai now has her own dedicated social media account, amassing thousands of followers since her introduction. The doll’s presence on platforms like Instagram and TikTok has helped her build a massive community of fans who eagerly await new content featuring the beloved doll.

Qai Qai’s impact goes beyond entertainment. Through the doll, Serena Williams has conveyed important messages of gender equality, social change, and more. To bring Qai Qai to life in the animated show, Serena Williams enlisted the talented voice actress Taikirha Miller. Williams expressed her satisfaction with Miller’s portrayal of Qai Qai, stating, “Everyone needs to find their voice, and I’m happy Qai Qai found hers in Taikirha.”

In addition to the animated show, Serena Williams previously released a book titled ‘The Adventures of Qai Qai’, further expanding the Qai Qai universe. The book gives kids a peek into the world of Qai Qai and shares her adventures with the reader.
