“Back to where you belong,” Simona Halep’s “fighter” spirit honored by Jannik Sinner’s coach Darren Cahill as he celebrates the Romanian’s legal victory

Romanian tennis ace Simona Halep got a huge reprieve when the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) reduced her four-year suspension over doping to only nine months which ended on 6 July 2023. This means that the two-time Grand Slam champion is eligible to compete in tournaments now. With the good news coming Halep’s way, Jannik Sinner‘s coach Darren Cahill welcomed the Romanian back.
After the CAS verdict about Halep was made public, Cahill shared a story on Instagram welcoming the two-time Grand Slam champion back. Cahill labeled the Romanian a fighter and lauded the 32-year-old for her honesty.

Cahill welcomed Halep back and reshared her Instagram post where the Romanian celebrated her win in this doping case. He also wrote a caption.

Boris Becker and Patrick Mouratoglou also celebrate Simona Halep’s legal victory
Not just Darren Cahill but renowned tennis coaches Patrick Mouratoglou and Boris Becker also celebrated Simona Halep’s legal victory. As the Romanian shared the details of CAS’ verdict on her Instagram, Mouratoglou and Becker commented on the post and celebrated Halep’s win in a different court.

While Mouratoglou was happy that the truth prevailed, Becker advised Halep to remember who stood by her side in despair. The former German tennis ace also talked about eagerly waiting for the two-time Grand Slam champion to be back on the court and “kicking a**”.
