Halep’s message to her followers is one of thanks, assurance of her innocence, and an optimistic wish to return to the court as she faces a temporary departure from the sport owing to a continuing drug suspension
Halep expresses gratitude to her supporters for their steadfast support throughout her career. She said, “The fact that they were always by my side and they supported me in such a nice way. I read all their messages, their warmth, and I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart.“
In the midst of a doping scandal, Halep takes advantage of the opportunity to confront the claims leveled against her. She vehemently asserts her innocence, stating, “And to assure them I’m innocent, that I didn’t take anything, I didn’t do anything dishonest in tennis.“
