In the world of sports, it is very common for one athlete to idolize another athlete from another sport. Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas is an example of just that. In a recent interview, the tennis star explained why he admires French soccer player Kylian Mbappe a lot.
Tsitsipas who is the same age as the football player reveals that he looks up to Mbappe as his idol.

Kylian Mbappe is considered one of the best generational talents in the sport, having managed to break multiple records at a young age. The 24-year-old managed to shock the world by scoring a hat-trick in a World Cup final, making him one of the few people to do so after Geoff Hurst and Pele.
He is following in the footsteps of the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo and hopes to achieve as much as the sporting great.

The sporting world is forever connected, and athletes are also people who have their favorites. Both the 24-year-olds are currently budding players in their respective sports, and the future holds a lot for both of them.
Currently, Mbappe is the leading scorer for his club, Paris Saint-Germain. He has scored 213 goals in 261 games. The Frenchman has also scored 48 goals so far this year, and with a few more games, he might score more.
Tsitsipas recently pulled out of the ATP Finals due to an injury and will now only be seen next year. With a whole new year to come, many players like Rafael Nadal and Naomi Osaka are all set to return alongside people who have been injured in the past year.
