Men’s Singles Draw Preview

Headlining the top half of the draw, Stefanos Tsitsipas gets a first-round bye along with the other top 4 seeds. He will open his campaign in the Round of 16 against either Ilya Ivashka or Maxime Cressy and is drawn with Tommy Paul who opens against Bjorn Borg’s son, Leo Borg. Mikael Ymer will face Quentin Halys in the first round and the winner will mostly face Paul in the second round. Paul and Tsitsipas are expected to meet in the quarterfinal.

Third seed Frances Tiafoe, who is in amazing form will face either Oscar Otte or Elias Ymer in the Round of 16. 6th seed Grigor Dimitrov will be up against Jiri Lehecka in the opening round and will then face the winner of the match between Joao Sousa and Emil Ruusuvuori. Tiafoe and Dimitrov are expected to meet in the quarterfinals.

British No.1 Cameron Norrie will headline the bottom half of the draw and will face either a qualifier or Aslan Karatsev in the second round. He is drawn in the same quarter as 7th seed Holger Rune who faces Thiago Monteiro in the first round. Rune is expected to face either Cristian Garin or a qualifier in the second round.

4th seed Denis Shapovalov will start his campaign in the Round of 16 against a qualifier and could face Alex de Minaur in the quarterfinal. De Minaur will face Benjamin Bonzi in the first round and will then meet the winner of the match between J.J. Wolf and Alex Molcan in the Round of 16.
