It’s a young storm that’s taken over the ATP Tour. It originated in Spain, is just in its initial years, and has done a lot of damage. The 20-year-old Carlos Alcaraz has been nothing short of ruthless when it comes to on-court dominance. He has defeated almost everyone he has ever played against. He reached the top of the rankings last year at the tender age of 19 when he won the US Open, his first Grand Slam.

With every tournament, it feels as if he is peaking and almost unstoppable. In his most recent match, he defeated Serbian legend Novak Djokovic in five tough sets at the Wimbledon Championships. He broke the Big 4 dominance in London finally after Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray ruled for 20 years.

His great on-court display at such a young age has attracted a lot of comparisons with top players. The most famous comparison between him and Spanish legend Rafael Nadal Furthermore, the king of clay has been in the talks whenever Alcaraz is mentioned. Many feel that there are many similarities between the two. Alcaraz is a huge Nadal fan, and a comparison like this would be a great moment for the 20-year-old.
