Team World participating in the upcoming 2022 Laver Cup has received a major boost as Frances Tiafoe is added to the team roster. The American is currently ranked 19th in the ATP singles rankings and much credit for it goes to his run to the semi-finals at the 2022 US Open.

Tiafoe comes in to replace American veteran John Isner who is ruled out due to a wrist injury suffered at the US Open. Isner’s absence makes way for Tiafoe who will participate in his 3rd Laver Cup edition this year. Not to forget, the first-ever Laver Cup match featured Tiafoe pitted against Marin Cilic.
