He has managed to reach the quarter-final stages of the tournament after defeating the likes of Jenson Brooksby, Marin Cilic, and Sebastian Baez.
His battle with Cilic really caught the public eye as the Spaniard came out on top after a thrilling five-set game which he won by 6-4, 3-6, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3. Fans took to Twitter to congratulate the young prodigy on a fantastic that sees him rocket his way to the US Open quarter-final stage.
In the quarter-finals, Carlos Alcaraz will be facing a very tough test as he will once again be going up against yet another prodigy, Jannik Sinner, Sinner is the worst opponent that Alcaraz could have faced in this crucial fixture as the Italian professional has recently defeated the Spaniard twice, once in Wimbledon and once in the finals of the Croatia Open.
