Coco Gauff, the 18-year-old American professional is lauded as one of the most talented players in the WTA currently, Gauff has started to cement her position as one of the best players on tour and despite just being 18, she is truly a formidable opponent for anyone in the world currently.
Despite being so young, Coco Gauff has put in some excellent performances at the ongoing US Open, her dream to go all the way has been cut short, however, she has been eliminated from the tournament before she could make it to the last 4 of the US Open as Gauff bows out of the tournament after losing to Caroline Garcia

Coco Gauff started off her US Open campaign like she was there to go all the way, Gauff defeated the likes of Madison Keys and Zhang Shuai to make her way into the quarter-finals of the tournament where she faced French professional Caroline Garcia who made quick work of the American by defeating her in straight sets.
Talking about her loss in the post-match press conference, Gauff said, “After everything that happened in Cincinnati… I didn’t think it was gonna be that good of a tournament for me, So I think it was good how I was able to bounce back, and I really proved to myself mentally that I can come out of these tough situations and do it.”
“And first quarterfinal too, at the US Open, and so there’s a lot to be proud of. But like I said, definitely disappointed, but I think it makes me wanna work even harder and I feel like I know what I have to do,” Gauff added further.
Being so young, Gauff definitely impressed people across the globe with her performance in the tournament and if she is able to stay consistent then the American professional is destined to do big things in her career.
