Thiago Seyboth Wild won the biggest match of his career at the French Open 2023. He defeated one of the favorites to lift the title and Rome Masters champion Daniil Medvedev in a thrilling 5-setter. But in the press conference, Wild was angry at the journalist for asking domestic abuse questions and declined to comment about it.
The journalist on Twitter revealed shocking details regarding Thiago Wild‘s domestic abuse allegations. As per the tweet, it is revealed how Thiago Wild’s agent tried to apprehend a journalist for asking him about those allegations.
Following Seyboth Wild’s win against Russian tennis star Daniil Medvedev, tennis writer Renan Nabeshima details further on the incident, naming another sports writer, Jannik Schneider, who was a victim of this incident.
In the tweet, Renan Nabeshima wrote: ” Sad to report that @schnejan (Jannik Schneider) told me he was threatened after asking Thiago Wild a question about the denounce for domestic violence against his ex.”
The tweet further reveals how the alleged ‘Octagon’ agent tried to check the journalist’s accreditation. Renan further reveals the agent’s advances toward him and comments on the question asked. The agent’s last words to the journalist were, “Old story, it’s all in the hand of law,” before further apprehending Schneider.
Thiago Wild’s ex-girlfriend made startling revelations about the Tennis star on domestic abuse
In September 2021, Thiago Wild’s girlfriend, Thayane Lima, revealed shocking details about the tennis star engaging in physical and psychological abuse against her. In September 2021, Lima further detailed on her Instagram stories some startling allegations against the Brazilian tennis player while living with him.
On her Instagram stories, Lima described an incident wherein Wild almost broke her finger. She alleges that Wild was enraged about her posting a picture of herself without him by her side. As reported by UBITennis, Lima said, “One day, he hurt my finger because he squeezed it until it almost broke just because he got angry when I published a photo on social media, alone and not with him. We were at a dinner with his parents, and then he shook my hand a lot. My finger turned purple and swollen.”
Later, Lima also revealed how Thiago had cut her off from accessing her credit card, her only form of money. Thiago’s father had offered Lima a deal as a hush-money settlement. However, she says this would be nothing compared to whatever she endured during her relationship. She adds, “ I realized that it would be more of a ‘shut up’ so that I wouldn’t expose things they didn’t want to come up about our relationship.”
With regards to all such allegations, Thiago has denied all such statements by his ex and has called them ‘defamatory and libelous practices.’ Following these allegations, a restraining order was passed against Thiago Wild for seeing his ex-girlfriend Thayane Lima.
