The first three days of the coveted US Open 2023 are over after a one-of-a-kind season. For the first time ever, three of the top five seeds did not make it to the third round of the tournament. Day 4 of the Grand Slam kicks off on Thursday, where players compete for a place in the third round and look forward to making it deep into the last Grand Slam of the year.

Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz will be looking forward to gaining confidence by beating his opponent. Fifth seed, Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur, who is also a fan favorite, will also be competing today for a place in the third round. She was the tournament’s runner-up last year and will be eyeing the championship title this time around.

British tennis player and former World No. 1, Andy Murray, will face nineteenth seed Grigor Dimitrov in the second round at the Arthur Ashe Stadium. Other notable players, such as Jannik Sinner, Jessica Pegula, Elina Svitolina, and thirteenth seed Alexander Zverev, will also be featured in the second round of the tournament.
