On Wednesday night, tennis fans got a glimpse of Novak Djokovic during Carlos Alcaraz’s match against Laslo Djere in the Argentina Open. One would ask what the Serb was doing in Buenos Aires. Okay, it was not Serb himself but his convincing lookalike who kept the spectators entertained while Alcaraz made his comeback to the tour.
This was not the first time a local version of a tennis star was seen enjoying the tournament. In 2019 too, there was a local rendition of Swiss Maestro Roger Federer present in the tournament who stole the show.
Tennis TV posted about the same on Instagram which garnered interesting responses from the fans. “A couple of familiar faces like watching tennis @argentinaopentennis,” the caption read. To which the fans replied with their own sense of humor.
“Walmart version,” one of the fans wrote. Here are some similarly interesting comments.
“I think I saw Federer and Nole.”
“Can I purchase these lookalikes on Amazon?”
“If Novak and Rodger work a 9-5.”
“Roger gained a couple of ounces quite fast after the fashion show week.”
