Andrey Rublev vs Yoshihito Nishioka: Prediction

Andrey Rublev

Rublev looks confident and has been in great form and will be one of the favorites to win the match. The Russian has some good experience on the hard court, having reached the quarter-finals twice in the US Open and once at the Australian Open. He will likely put pressure on his opponent from the very start with his strong forehand as he has already served 26 aces in the tournament. He needs to make sure to make fewer unforced errors while keeping his composure during the course of the match.

On the other hand, Nishioka cannot be written off since he has beaten some higher-ranked players in Washington DC. He will be pretty confident with his previous wins against seeded players and will put up a strong game against the Russian. It will be an exciting match to watch as this will be the third time where both the players will be facing each other. As of now, their head-to-head record stands at 1-1.

Prediction: Rublev to win in straight sets.
