His second round win against Thanasi Kokkinakis lasted for almost six hours, with the Briton completing a sensational comeback victory. His five-set victory over Matteo Berrettini was no different, as he had to dig deep to survive in the tournament.
For the entirety of the two matches, the three-time Major champion has been absolute clutch during crucial junctures of the match. Despite spending an eternity on court, Andy Murray gave it his all in the third round battle against Roberto Bautista Agut. Being a set and a break down in the second, the veteran was put under pressure from the Spaniard in his service game yet again.
However, Andy Murray produced some brilliant tennis to hold his serve, which kept him in the scheme of things in the second set. The two-time Wimbledon champion was serving at 1-3 down, with the score reading 30-30. He produced a brilliant backhand winner, which brought the entire crowd on its feet.

The crowd roared their approval, as the 35-year-old finally sprung back to life in the third round encounter at the Australian Open 2023.
Andy Murray was visibly struggling physically during the first set, where he was outplayed by his opponent. Roberto Bautista Agut took the first set by a score-line of 6-1. However, this is not unchartered territory for Murray, as he found himself in the same situation a couple of days back against Thanasi Kokkinakis.
