Carlos Alcaraz, the 19-year-old Spaniard has experienced a meteoric rise to the top ever since his debut, registering 42 wins and 7 losses this season. Currently ranked at world number 4 just being 19 years of age, Alcaraz has everyone in awe of his performances and his consistency on the court.

Rivaling Alcaraz is world number 12 Jannik Sinner, the 20-year-old Italian youngster has got the better of Alcaraz twice this season, most recently in the finals of 2022 Croatia Open where there seemed to be a new rivalry blossoming amongst the two as Alcaraz promised to find a way to beat Sinner very soon.

Fans were in a state of ecstasy as they saw the ‘new-gen’ stars Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner practice together ahead of the Canadian Open, the stars took to practice courts and were seen exchange some outstanding rallies between each other as they displayed their class for everyone to see.

The practice session had everything from cross-court shots, to volleys, the players coming to the net, and the rivals producing some insane point winners in the process, The official ATP streaming service, TennisTV took to their social media handles to post a glimpse of one of the rallies that the players produced and even labeled the point as the point of the tournament before the tournament has even begun.

Carlos Alcaraz has won four titles this season which include the Masters 1000 at Indian Wells and Madrid Open, whereas the other two titles came at the Barcelona Open and the Rio Open. Reaching the French Open quarter-finals as well for the second time as Alcaraz continues to display excellent performances despite being so young.

His rival, Jannik Sinner on the other hand played through a memorable quarter-final at the 2022 Wimbledon where he was beaten by Novak Djokovic in a fantastic battle, Sinner won his first title of the season at Croatia Open after beating Carlos Alcaraz in the finals.
