Although, Coco Gauff could not win any WTA singles title in the 2022 season, she took some giant strides defeating some top seeds. She reached the final of the French Open both in the ladies singles and doubles event(s) of the competition. She also won three WTA doubles titles with Jessica Pegula. She, along with Jessica Pegula, was the only woman to qualify for the WTA Finals 2022.

This year, her fans will expect great feats from her. She would like to improve her performances in the Grand Slam tournaments. She would like to reach the advanced stages of the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the US Open. Last time she could not win the title at Roland Garros, but in 2023, she would love to win the trophy.

She also needs to improve her fitness levels if she wants to win and continue winning at the Grand Slam tournaments and other WTA tournaments. She would have to compete against the best female tennis players in the form of Iga Swiatek, Ons Jabeur, Aryna Sabalenka, Daria Kasatkina and Caroline Garcia, among others. It would take a lot of effort on her part to defeat such brilliant players.

She would also like to foster her partnership with Jessica Pegula. This all-American pair played in the Championship match of French Open 2022 against all-French pair of Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic. However, they could not win this match. But both the players have given high hopes to their fans.
