Novak Djokovic, the six-time Wimbledon champion has returned to SW19 to defend his title for the third time in a row. Even though Djokovic decided not to play any lead-up tournaments to Wimbledon, he has hit top form on the grass. He looked a bit rusty in his match against a brilliant Soonwoo Kwon who snatched a set from him and also broke him several times. But, Djokovic’s performance in the second round was much more clinical as he thrashed Thanasi Kokkinakis 6-1, 6-4, 6-2.
With his current form, Djokovic is the huge favorite to defend his title at the center court. During his day off for the third-round match against compatriot Miomir Kecmanovic, his practice session was a bit unusual. He brought along his son 7-year-old Stefan for practice and the father-son duo exchanged some good length rallies. It was a great show of hitting by Djokovic’s son.

Djokovic’s son Stefan hit some forehands and one of them was Rafael Nadal‘s signature buggy whip forehand. Djokovic had revealed during the Australian Open 2022 itself, that Stefan is a huge Rafa fan. He also hit a couple of great backhands just like Djokovic does. The fans on Twitter took notice of both of the occurrences and were pleased that Djokovic’s son was following in his footsteps. Twitter went crazy after the videos and the images of the practice surfaced as the fans hoped Djokovic is training the next generation’s champion himself.
