Serena Williams is a celebrated American icon. With her retirement edging ever closer, Amerian sports-themed beverage brand Gatorade paid their tribute to Serena Williams by making an advertisement that showed her journey and how she has inspired millions of fans around the world.

The highlight of the advert was world-famous singer, Beyonce narrating the advertisement that showed Serena Williams‘ journey. The former world number 1 has been out of action for most of this year, she has faced early exits from Wimbledon this year, and the same has been the case for the Canadian Open and the Cincinnati Open as well.

Everyone has their eyes on Serena Williams as fans are gearing up to see her in action for one last time at the US Open this year. She made the announcement a few days ago that she will be retiring from the sport after playing at the US Open which will be the final major tournament of the season and the final tournament of her career as well.
