Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios has recently expressed his desire to see Naomi Osaka on the court as she gears up to make a solid comeback to the sport after staying off the court for almost more than a year.

Nick Kyrgios and Naomi Osaka were recently seen together on the tennis court. The Australian was coaching her, sharing a few tips and information regarding her service as the Japanese sat and listened to him. The former World No. 1 has rigorously started training to come back on the tennis court, as she is motivated to pull off an epic comeback.

The former World No. 1, who established herself in the world of tennis by overcoming American legend Serena Williams in the 2018 US Open finals to win her maiden Grand Slam, has been absent from the court for a long period.

She withdrew from this year’s Australian Open as she was expecting a child with her rapper boyfriend, Cordae. Later, she confirmed her comeback to the sport as she confirmed her participation in the 2024 Brisbane Open.

Nick Kyrgios, who also turned analyst and commentator for Tennis Channel in the recently concluded ATP Finals, expressed his full-fledged support for the Japanese, as she is all set to make a comeback to the sport. He was seen coaching her on the court as he helped her with the after-serve stepping.

The Japanese last played in the round of 16 of the Toray Pan Pacific Open in September last year. With such an extended break, she has surely missed out on a lot of opportunities this year.
