Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal

Novak Djokovic, the 35-year-old Serbian professional is undoubtedly one of the greatest tennis players of all time, with 21 grand slam titles to his name, Novak Djokovic has written his name among the all-time greats of the sport. Fans have been debating for decades now to decide who is the GOAT of tennis and it always comes down to either Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, or Roger Federer.

Djokovic has recently been surrounded by controversies, mostly due to his Covid-19 vaccination status, the Serb made it clear that he has no plans of getting vaccinated for the virus, and as a result of that, he has missed out on many tournaments this year. He was deported from Australia earlier this year and he has been unable to participate in the ongoing US Open as well.

In a video shared by the Montenegrin prime minister Dritan Abazovic, Novak Djokovic was spotted at a wine fair in Belgrade where he was given the title of the ‘wine presenter’ by Abrazovic in his post on Twitter, after missing the entire US swing, Djokovic was unable to participate at the US Open as well and the Serbian clearly does not have any issues as he seems to be having the time of his life.

In the post, Abazovic wrote, “Meeting with the world legend and one of the greatest athletes Novak Djokovic in his today’s role of wine presenter,” Djokovic was seen chatting with the people present at the fair and gave a hug to the Montenegrin prime minister as well who was stoked to meet him.

On the other side of the world, Rafael Nadal has made his way into the third round of the US Open as he beat Italian professional Fabio Fognini in a thrilling second-round match. The GOAT debate will seem to be squandered if Nadal keeps up this type of performance and manages to win the 23rd grand slam title of his career, Djokovic will be left two titles behind Nadal and some would argue that is because of the Serb’s decision of not getting vaccinated.
