The 2022 ATP Tour is in its last leg. The conclusion of the ATP Finals will mark the end of the ATP tour 2022 season officially. Hence, the excitement level is at an all-time high for the prestigious event, with the Top 8 seeds gathered in Turin to amaze the audiences with their gameplay skills.

All players are practicing to acclimatize themselves to the climate and the Indoor settings, as they are required to acclimatize themselves to the round-robin format that is present in the ATP Finals 2022. Hence, all players are training hard.

Meanwhile, a video of Rafael Nadal has gone viral, eliciting a plethora of hilarious reactions online. In the viral video, the Spanish professional can be seen serving rival Felix Auger-Aliassime and almost blew off Felix’s head with his lethal serve. Both players were seeing chuckling at the incident in the video, especially Rafael Nadal. However, we have to agree that it was a nice way to have one less competitor in the tournament.

The aforementioned video is posted by WE ARE TENNIS on their official social media handle.

“Almost one less rival,” the caption read.

Rafael Nadal will be starting his campaign on November 14 against the American Taylor Fritz in the ATP Finals. He is drawn to Felix Auger-Aliassime and Casper Ruud in the Green Group with the American.

Can Rafael Nadal win his maiden ATP Finals trophy?

Rafael Nadal is an all-conquering force. He has won 22 Grand Slam singles titles throughout his career. He won the 2008 Beijing Olympics gold medal in singles and the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics gold medal in doubles.

He helped Spain to lift the Davis Cup title 5 times. He has won all that the tennis world has to offer. However, one trophy is lacking in his trophy cabinet. The ATP Finals Trophy!

The Spaniard has participated in the prestigious tournament a record 17 times. However, he is still not able to win the title. This time, the King of Clay is leaving no stone unturned, as he has been training extremely hard. This may also be his last chance to take the trophy home. He is aging and struggling to keep his performance levels at the optimum levels.

Serious doubts were looming over his fitness this year, too. However, he shut up all his critics by winning the Australian Open and the French Open. However, his participation in the ATP Tour is still in jeopardy due to his health issues.

There are great odds to cross before he can lay his hands on the prestigious trophy. He has to face the challenge of Felix Auger-Aliassime, Taylor Fritz, and Casper Ruud in his group. He also has to face the likes of either Stefanos Tsitsipas or Daniil Medvedev or Andrey Rublev. And then there is the Serbian maestro Novak Djokovic. Also, his record in indoor matches is not very encouraging.

But this year has been fantastic for the Spaniard. Can he produce some magic and win the unthinkable? Only time will tell.
