18 Time Grand Slam Champion Martina Navratilova took to her official social media to hit out at the Republicans and 2 of the supporters of former US President Donald Trump who were recently elected to the Capitol. She was more triggered by the fact that the 2 newly elected members were involved in the infamous US Capitol incident.

She vented out her anger in the bird app, saying that the guys who attended the infamous rally at the US Capitol on Jan 6, 2021, were meant to go to prison and not as elected representatives of the Capitol. She Quoted, “Insanity- these guys should be in prison instead of Congress“

The Former World No.1 has always been vocal about the issues happening around the world and she is not afraid of the criticisms she has to face at times. Being a lesbian and having a left ideology, she has always voiced her opinions against Donald Trump and his takes on various topics.

Martina Navratilova is never afraid to voice her opinion on public matters

Martina Navratilova is one of the greatest players of all time and has been influential in popularizing women’s tennis. She expresses her taboo opinions on Twitter regarding social, cultural, and political things fearlessly and has a left-leaning ideology. Being a lesbian herself, she has always stood up for equal rights for the LGBTQ community. She does not mince her words while standing up for a cause she firmly believes in.

She has a lot of problems with Trump’s typical mindset and often calls out ex-President Donald Trump for his ‘typical’ thoughts. This includes various conserving issues like abortion, same-sex relationships/marriage, arms policies, drug use, and many other issues.
