The ‘King of Clay’ boasts 13 Roland Garros titles among his 21 majors, the most among men, although he was denied a 14th last year when he lost in the semi-finals to eventual champion Novak Djokovic.

Nadal was surprisingly met by a small boy on the court as he was putting his racquets away and gathering himself on his seat on Court Suzanne-Lenglen after clinching the match over the 26th seed. The Spaniard touched the kid’s head and spoke to him in a kind manner. It was a total fanboy moment for the youngster, and he will undoubtedly remember it for the rest of his life.
