World No. 7 and 21-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic has started his preparation for the hardcourt swing that will start next week. The only problem with it remains that he is not allowed for any of the tournament that is scheduled in the USA over the next 5 weeks including the 2022 US Open, the fourth and final Grand Slam of the season.

Djokovic’s firm decision of not taking the vaccine will see him remain absent from the USA this year as the country requires proof of vaccination for all of their foreign visitors. With the US Open starting on 29th August in New York, Djokovic’s participation in the Grand Slam will be decided by the politicians of the USA who will have to modify their entire policy just to welcome one player who has started his preparations hoping that the policy will be changed.

While Djokovic’s fans and supporters continue to show their support for the Serbian, the timing could not have been any better for them as US president Joe Biden tested positive for Covid for the second time this week, days after he was cleared by doctors to be in public once again.

The 79-year-old politician has been vaccinated along with booster doses on as many as 4 occasions but given his old age, he tested positive for the second time after initially testing positive on 21st July. Netizens took to Twitter once again to give their opinion on the subject as Djokovic’s case continues to be pleaded by the millions of his fans.

Folks, today I tested positive for COVID again.

This happens with a small minority of folks.

I’ve got no symptoms but I am going to isolate for the safety of everyone around me.
