“What a lucky kid! “- Chris Evert shares a heartfelt message to Rafael Nadal on his celebratory pregnancy news

Rafael Nadal has won the French Open for the 14th time, adding to his record collection. Many people didn’t even consider him on their favourite list. The Spaniard, however, has defied all odds and set a new record. To add to the amazement, the winner’s victory occurred exactly two days after his 36th birthday, making him the oldest clay-court champion ever.

But that wasn’t the only good news that came his way. A few weeks after his triumph at Roland Garros, it has been reported that Rafael Nadal and Xisca Perello are expecting their first child together. Perello displayed her new pregnancy silhouette in a swimsuit after being spotted wearing a comfy dress at the Paris final, according to the magazine Hola! The announcement quickly gained traction, with fans and tennis professionals such as Chris Evert congratulating the couple.

Chris Evert congratulates Rafael Nadal

Chris Evert, the American Tennis legend, also received the wonderful news and congratulated the couple on social media. The 18-time Grand Slam winner took to Twitter and wrote, “What a lucky kid!!!” Notably, Evert responded to a tweet from a fan who said that following his practice session, Nadal confirmed the news of becoming a parent. Afterwards, the Spaniard posed for a few selfies with admirers and was congratulated by a few people.
