30 year old Heather Watson hasn’t had much luck with winning big throughout her career but she has been producing the right results at Wimbledon 2022. In the singles draw, she made it to the second week after convincing victories in the earlier rounds. Tamara Korpatsch was the only player to have been able to put up any sort of a fight against the Englishwoman in the opening round in London when the match went into 3 sets.

Watson’s 2nd and 3rd round fixtures against Qiang Wang and Kaja Juvan respectively were straight-set affairs where Watson looked adept in responding to all questions that were being asked of her. In the Nottingham Open that took place in the early parts of June this year, Watson was knocked out by Swiss player Viktorija Golubic in the Round of 16 stages. At Eastbourne, she managed to reach the main draw through the qualifier but lost in the opening round.

Before Wimbledon, Watson managed to win just one match at the Australian Open and bowed out of the opening round at the French Open but has used all the home support to her advantage at Wimbledon.

Who is Heather Watson’s Boyfriend?

Watson is currently not dating anyone. Heather Watson was earlier dating Courtney Duffus, a 6ft 2’, 26-year-old professional football player. If you had followed Watson’s social media during the lockdown periods, you’d recall the pair making videos and completing some of the online couple trends.

It must be noted that has no boyfriend at the moment because the couple chose to part ways and split in May 2022. Before her days with Duffus, Watson was with tennis player Lloyd Glasspool, with whom she had shared a romantic relationship from 2016 to 2018.
