Nick Kyrgios has had an amazing season so far. For a change, he was been very consistent all year and is taking the fight up to the top players in the world. He has even managed to beat the very best in the world and despite playing very less tournaments, he has risen up the ranks consistently.

But irrespective of everything, Kyrgios plays with the same ‘bad guy’ attitude and hence is under constant scrutiny. He loves giving it back to the opponent but at times he gets carried way and ends up on the wrong side. He is surrounded by controversies every time and this week in Wimbledon, he was under criticism after spitting toward a spectator on the court.

During his second-round match, Kyrgios spitted toward a spectator after which he was heavily fined by Wimbledon authorities for unsportsmanlike conduct. The Australian even revealed later that he intentionally did that because the spectator was troubling and heckling him but despite everything, Kyrgios was the one asked to pay the fine.

In the third-round match between Alexander Bublik and Frances Tiafoe, Bublik, who is known for his on-court antics, did a very strange thing. On serve trailing 0-3 in the fourth set, Bublik hit 6 underarm serves in a single service game. He won the game but lost the set and eventually the match in four sets.

After Wimbledon posted the video on Twitter, Kyrgios took a very cheeky dig at them by referring to the fine they imposed at him. He called the whole incident different but said that if it was him doing the underarm serve, he’d have been accused of tanking and would’ve found himself with a 15 thousand pounds fine.

“I love it, it’s different. But if it was me, I would be accused of tanking and get fined a minimum of 15 thousand pounds,” he tweeted.
