After, losing the first set to the Spaniard, Nick Kyrgios managed to get 4 games to 3 leads in the second set. However, the Aussie got into a rift with the Umpire during the break.

He kept on riffing at the umpire during the next game, the situation got way tenser when Kyrgios hit the ball straight towards Nadal. Nadal barely managed to save the ball from hitting his chest and looked up at Kyrgios thinking that he might apologize. But the Aussie didn’t feel the need to apologize to Nadal. Nadal looked a bit angry at Kyrgios for not apologizing for a dangerous shot.

Kyrgios did manage to win that particular set, but Nadal won the next two sets comfortably and defeated the Aussie. However, when Kyrgios was asked about him not apologizing to Nadal for a dangerous ball, the Aussie had a very blatant response.

He said, “I don’t care. Why would I apologize? I mean the dude has how many slams? How much is in his bank account? I think he can take a ball to the chest man.”

When asked if he was intentionally trying to hit the ball at Nadal or not Kyrgios said, “I was trying actually to go for it. I wanted to hit him straight in the chest!”
