Djordje backs brother Novak Djokovic in troubling times
Djordje Djokovic just like Novak is a tennis player. Although he doesn’t have the accolades like his brother to back his tennis career, his greatest professional achievement was reaching the quarterfinals of the 2015 China Open.
However, Novak is currently being made to stay in a quarantine hotel. According to Novak’s parents, the living conditions at the hotel are absolutely miserable.
After Mummy and Papa Djokovic, it was the turn of baby brother Djokovic to comment on the miserable situation of his brother. Djordjae while addressing a press conference held by his father in Serbia made some bold claims about his brother’s situation in Australia.
Djordje said, “My brother Novak is being treated as a criminal, but he had the same visa as other players who were granted to enter Australia. He is the greatest athlete of all time. This is a scandal!”
Novak and his lawyers have filed a case against the Australian authorities and world No.1 hasn’t lost hope of making it to Melbourne Park on 17th January 2022.
