The Australian Open 2022 has been a historical event not because of the amazing performances that some of the top-ranked players in the world have shown in the past two weeks. It will be historical because the world No.1 Novak Djokovic was deported and wasn’t allowed to participate in the tournament.
Djokovic has been the most talked-about topic before the beginning of the Australian Open, during the Australian Open and it is fitting that we are talking about him as the Australian Open comes to an end. A recent BBC report has raised doubts over the timing of Djokovic’s Covid-19 positive test.
Novak Djokovic’s positive Covid test might be forged

Novak Djokovic has landed into trouble yet again, as the BBC report shows that the world No.1 might’ve forged his documents to enter Australia and contest at the Australian Open.
According to the BBC report, Mr. Djokovic’s positive and negative tests which are 16th December 2021 and 22nd December 2021 respectively have a confirmation code mentioned on the document.
The report has proved that the confirmation code is a number that increases chronologically. This means that Djokovic’s positive test which has the Confirmation code 7371999 (16th December 2021) which is greater than the confirmation code in his negative test 7320919(22nd December 2021).

If you look at the confirmation codes of Djokovic’s positive test 7371999 it fits between tests dates between 25th December (7366969) and 28 December (7415312). This is an astonishing discrepancy could prove that the covid test was forged by the world No.1.
However, there could be other reasons for the discrepancy. If is well known that both the tests were conducted at different labouratories which might’ve been issued particular set of confirmation codes.
Djordje Krivokapic, a specialist in data and digital security sais, “There is always the possibility for a glitch. But if that were the case, there would be a simple explanation, I don’t see why the state authorities wouldn’t just say that.”
Till now Djokovic’s media team hasn’t responded to these allegations and hasn’t addressed the discrepancies.
