Ever since Novak Djokovic released the statement about getting an exemption people both online and offline have been voicing their concerns over allowing the world No.1’s participation.
According to a report conducted by the 9-news Melbourne, the people in Melbourne are in rage with Djokovic’s participation in the Australian Open, 2022.
In the report, some of the fans can be saying, “We have someone that has come from overseas, and all of sudden he’s been exempted and can play. I think it’s a DISGRACE and I won’t be watching him.”
This anger in the public is justifiable due to the things that Melbourne has been through in the past two years. Finally, the restrictions were being lifted and the people had some freedom to move around.
