Spanish tennis legend Rafael Nadal is known for his aggressive game style. He has won 20 Grand Slam singles titles, and in total he has 88 singles titles to his name and 11 doubles titles. His current world ranking according to the Association of Tennis Professionals is No.6.
In the middle of this year’s season, Rafa got a severe leg injury which kept him away from tennis for a long time. Many players thought he would not be able to make it to the starting tournaments of next season. But the legend proved them wrong and will be joining the tour this week.
To perform better, World No.6 was seen practicing in his academy. In a latest video posted by the official Twitter handle of the Rafael Nadal Academy, the player was seen practicing in his academy in Kuwait.
In the video, Rafa was seen practicing his moves, gaining strength and stamina for the matches. After the injury, he did not compete for a few months but here he is practicing in a very good form.
Apart from Rafael, his coach Carlos Moya can be seen giving an interview. He said that Rafa is in good shape, though he did not play and tournaments for a few months, he is still improving.
Carlos also said that the facilities in Kuwait are very good and the weather is also suitable to practice outdoors. In Spain, they practiced indoors because the weather was very bad there. It’s not easy to adapt to the weather of a different country but Nadal is very well adapted to the weather of Kuwait.
