It could be the first meeting between the two Spaniards Alcaraz and Busta. While both the players return to the Tour from a defeat in the Australian Open having lost to Berrettini, it will be a close match between the two players who are both great on Clay. Ruud and Schwartzman could meet for the 9th time with their 8th meeting set to take place in the finals at the Argentina Open where they are set to clash for the title.

Schwartzman and Alcaraz could meet for the first time on the Tour. While both are claycourt specialists, the youth of Carlos could be tested by the experience of Schwartzman who has displayed fantastic results in both the Clay tournaments he has played and would be the favourite to capture the title in Rio for the second time.

Champion: Diego Schwartzman
