Novak Djokovic has comfortably sailed into the quarter finals of the ongoing Rome Masters 2021. The 2021 Australian Open winner had taken a break before playing at the Monte Carlo Masters 2021 where he was knocked out in the Round of 16. From Rome he travelled to Serbia for the Belgrade Open 2021 where he was defeated in the semi-finals.
Defending his title from the 2020 Rome Masters, the Serbian has made an easy journey up till now winning all of his games in straight sets to set up this quarter-final clash with Tsitsipas.
Stefanos Tsitsipas has made a great start to the Clay season of 2021. The Greek star won the Monte Carlo Masters 2021 and followed it up with a runner-up finish at the Barcelona Open 2021. He then played at the Madrid Masters 2021 but was knocked out in the Round of 16 stage by Casper Ruud.
