Andrey Rublev has been in tremendous form. He went past all his opponents without dropping a single set until he was stretched in the semi-finals by Nikoloz Basilashvili. After dominating the proceedings in the first set, Rublev dropped the second set in the semis.
However, Rublev counter-attacked brilliantly and ended up winning the contest by 6-1, 3-6, 6-3. Moreover, he also thrashed Philipp Kohlschreiber in the quarter-finals in straight sets.
