Serena Williams is a name to reckon with in the world of tennis. In a career spanning over two decades, the American tennis star has won 23 Grand Slam titles and it won’t be a surprise if she adds up a few more to her tally in the near future.
However, she has been away from the court for quite some time now. The star player had to withdraw mid-game in the first round at Wimbledon this season due to a hamstring injury after which, she hasn’t participated in any tournament this season. However, she recently gave an update about her fitness which will bring a smile to the faces of her fans.

Serena recently went to the Jimmy Kimmel show where she talked in detail about ‘King Richard’, Will Smith’s portrayal of his father in the movie, and her personal life. Serena claimed that she is recovering well from the hamstring injury and might participate in the Australian Open next year.
Serena went on to talk about her darling daughter Olympia. When Jimmy asked if Olympia likes tennis, Serena claimed that she does, but she likes playing the piano even more. “When she was in my belly, I played a lot of piano music,” Serena said.
She went on to add that the little girl is taking piano lessons and is even teaching her how to play. “I have a baby Mozart, of course, every parent thinks their child is Beethoven,” she said. Williams also talked about ‘King Richard’ claiming that Will Smith did an absolutely magnificent job in portraying her dad with perfection on the screen.
Serena is a once-in-a-generation type of player. What she has already achieved is beyond the capacity of most, and the fact that she is hungry for more suggests that she is not going to stop unless she absolutely can’t play anymore.
