American teen sensation Coco Gauff has long been touted to be one of the players to dominate the WTA circuit in the future. Gauff made a breakthrough in her first year on tour with a spirited run at the Wimbledon in 2014. She was the youngest player to compete in the main draw of the Grand Slam, aged just 15. The American showed no nerves on her Grand Slam debut and reached the fourth-round before she lost to eventual champion Simona Halep.

Nevertheless, it was a stunning performance for the American as she continued her ascent to the top levels. She has been a mainstay in the top-20 over the years and has gained prominence as a doubles player as well. Still only 18, Gauff has shown incredible poise and potential far beyond her years. Now it seems only a matter of time before she establishes herself as a force to be reckoned with.

Former World No.1, Victoria Azarenka lavished praise on the young American for her incredible potential. The Belarusian said she was clearly amazed by her talent and even claimed Gauff is one of the most talented among the upcoming crop of players. She also added that the Ameican is poised to make a breakthrough soon.
