Nick Kyrgios made a temper-laden exit at the Miami Open, where he even received a game penalty during his fourth-round clash against Jannik Sinner. Kyrgios lost his cool multiple times during the match, where he smashed his racquet and launched an expletive-laden rant at the umpire.

Amidst the furor over his outburst, his rumored engagement with girlfriend Costeen Hatzi flew under the radar. Hatzi posted a picture of them together where she flaunted a ring on her hand, sparking engagement rumors. But since then, Kyrgios’ manager denied the rumors. However, the Australian is still mum over the rumors and shared a clip of her on his Instagram story and captioned it “She’s so beautiful.”

Reigning Australian Open doubles champions Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis continued their impressive run in Miami with a straight-set win over 3rd seeded pairing of Horacio Zeballos and Marcel Granollers 7-5, 6-2 in the quarter-finals. Kyrgios played this match just hours after his controversial exit against Jannik Sinner, but the 26-year-old showed far more composure as the Australian duo booked their spot in the semi-finals.

Kyrgios and Kokkinakis have lost only one match this year, which was at the round-of-16 at the Indian Wells against Jack Sock and John Isner. Now the duo is only two wins from adding another silverware upon their triumph in Australia earlier this year. As for his singles campaign, Kyrgios will compete at an ATP 250 tournament in Houston. Following this, he will take a break after already having declared his intention to skip the clay-court swing, before making a return ahead of Wimbledon.
