Rafael Nadal won his 21st Grand Slams in the most unbelievable fashions. The Spanish Bull was down and out of the game for a long time and was making a comeback to professional tennis. He had very less hope about making it to the Australian Open let alone winning it.

However, he did come back to professional tennis and competed at the Australian Open. He competed so well that he defeated every opponent in his way and won his 2nd Australian Open title.

Nadal’s coach and friend Carlos Moya was emotional about the brilliant victory in the finals of the Australian Open. Just like everyone else even he couldn’t believe that Rafa won the match. He shared a beautiful message on Twitter in which he wrote, “Sometimes REALITY surpasses the best DREAMS,”

Just like his coach Rafa also played some of his best tennis on the clay at Roland Garros and always slipped away from victory at the Australian Open. Before 2022, Nadal had reached the Australian Opens final five times in his career and was only able to win one of them.

However, the journey to this year’s Australian Open was even harder for the duo. Nadal went through surgery 6 months ago and was making a comeback to professional tennis. Both Rafa and Carlos never thought that he could reach the finals of the Australian Open let alone win it.

But as Carlos wrote in his tweet, “Sometimes reality beats the best dreams. Congratulations legend, we keep adding. Thank you Melbourne and Australia, always at home πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ†πŸ†πŸ† #team”. It was a special match for Rafa, Carlos, his team, his family, and all his fans throughout the world.
