Who are the sponsors for Australian Open 2024?
Kia, Rolex, Emirates and Luzhou Laojiao are the primary sponsors of the first Slam of the year in 2024.

The Australian Open is the first Grand Slam of the calendar year and is played in mid-January. Since its inception in 1905 and its designation as one of the four Grand Slam events in 1923, the Australian Open has been considered to be a tournament of great importance and it is one of the biggest sporting events in the southern hemisphere. The matches in the Australian Open have been played on hard courts since 1988. Before that, the matches were played on the grass.
The so-called ‘Happy Slam’ has had 111 editions so far and is set to have its 112th edition in 2024. Just like the other Grand Slam events, the Australian Major also has a list of main sponsors that have been around for a long time. Their main sponsors are:
- Kia – Has been the primary sponsor of the Australian Open since first signing up with the Slam back in 2002. Recently, Kia extended their partnership with the Australian Open for another five years, until 2028.
- Emirates, Rolex, and Luzhou Laojiao – Associate partners of the Australian Open. While Rolex and Emirates have been sponsoring the tournament for the last four years, the alcohol company Luzhou Laojiao just joined this year. Rolex is the official time-keeper, Emirates is the airline partner, and Luzhou Laojiao is the official alcohol partner.

The first round of the 2024 Australian Open starts on 14th January and the final will be played on 28th January. Ahead of the kickoff, Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, and Jannik Sinner are the favorites to lift the trophy this time, given the exceptional form that they have been in lately.
The last-minute withdrawal of Rafael Nadal, who was set to make his Grand Slam comeback, was indeed disappointing. However, the tournament has a great level of competition to make it exciting enough.
