Japanese tennis star Naomi Osaka recently played in the finals of the Miami Open on Saturday. The finalist had to play against World no.1 Iga Swiatek, and though she gave a good fight, she ultimately lost and was placed second. Although she lost, Osaka was heard saying,” Firstly I wanna dedicate this one to all the people who support me and my fans, I haven’t been in this position for a little minute.”
“I know this isn’t the outcome you guys wanted but I had a lot of fun and I’ll work hard to have more opportunities like this again.”
So now we know that the finals were enriching for Osaka who decided to learn from her mistakes and keep going ahead and keep a positive outlook on winning tournaments in the future. This should keep the anxious fans at bay who would have been worried about Osaka going into depression, which is far from what she is feeling at the moment.
Naomi Osaka was seen having fun with friends and Butta post the Miami Open Finals
The Miami Open was a learning curve in Naomi Osaka‘s life and she is definitely facing forward into the future. On Tuesday 5th April, the Japanese star posted a series of pictures and cute videos with the caption, “Thank you Miami for everything and to @airbnb for a place to call home for the past few weeks. Had a blast with my friends and Butta definitely loved the 305. #airbnbpartner”
In the post, the first shot can be seen of Osaka who looks dressed and very glamourous relaxing near the pool. The next ones are a series of videos and a picture of Butta and Osaka and her friends having fun. The next one is a picture of the Japanese star cuddling with Butta. The last slide is a particularly funny video where one of her friends is seen chasing Butta and the dog running out of view. It is seen that Osaka is relaxing around the seating area.
The post which was put up just a few hours back has already gotten over 1 lakh likes and the comment section is flooded with people praising the former world no.1.
She also thanked Airbnb was making her stay very comfortable and making it feel like home. She says it was very comfortable during her stay and that it was an incredible experience.
We hope that Osaka can carry on with his healthy mindset and show the fans the excellent game that she showed in the Miami Open. After all, the Japanese star is now the world no. 35 climbing back up from the 77th position, thereby showing us that if she puts her mind to it, she can achieve it.
