Alexander Zverev has had a magnificent run at the 2021 Nitto ATP Finals. Although he had a slow start to the tournament when he was defeated by Daniil Medvedev, the World No. 3 dominated the proceedings in the upcoming contests. His toughest challenge came in the semis when he was up against Novak Djokovic.
The World No. 1 tennis star was cornered by Zverev and he made his way into the finals where he was up against Daniil Medvedev. What transpired in the finals was nothing short of sensational. Zverev not only ended up winning the title but also dominated the proceedings throughout.
“The champagne shower”: Zverev celebrates his 2nd ATP Finals title

The German tennis star ended up winning the finals in straight sets. Medvedev, who had defeated Zverev earlier in the Group Stage of the tournament, looked out of sorts and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the German was actually way too good on the night of the finals.
After the emphatic win, Zverev celebrated in his own style. First, he was seen creating some iconic memories with Tiktok sensation Khaby Lame which went viral in a jiffy. Post that, Zverev was spotted drinking champagne directly from a bottle opened by what appears to be a member of his team.
The champagne was first sprayed on Zverev’s head and post that, with a broad smile on his face, Zverev drank a little bit from the bottle before putting it down. Zverev has had a wonderful season this time around. After winning the ATP Finals title for the 2nd time in his career, the World No. 3 will target his first Grand Slam title next year.
