Raducanu defied all odds and thrashed several top-rated players one after the other and eventually lifted the US Open trophy. Such was her domination that she did not drop a single set in the entire tournament. However, behind the dominant Brit, there is a hard-working tennis enthusiast who realized her potential at a fairly young age.

Emma Raducanu took up the game of tennis when she was very young. The days spend tirelessly in training have eventually paid dividends. Back in 2011 at the National Tennis Centre, when Raducanu was just 9 years old, she used to play with all her might and strength as she does today.
Taking us back to that time, the LTA posted a video of 9-year-old Emma Raducanu involved in a brilliant rally with Sonay Kartal. Looking at some of the shots Raducanu can be seen playing in the video, it would be fair to say that she was indeed a young prodigy by all means.
Raducanu has been in the limelight for quite some time after winning the US Open title. The superstar from Britain will next be seen in the Indian Wells Open where she has received a wildcard entry. The world no. 22 will step into the tournament with a lot of expectations and her fans would like to see her lift yet another trophy.
