Nick Kyrgios delivered a typical ‘Kyrgios’ moment prior to the first round of the Men’s Doubles event. It was an all-Australian battle, as Kyrgios and Kokkinakis faced the pairing of Alex Bolt and J.Mccabe. The chair umpire asked a routine question to both pairs if they had any queries regarding the match, just prior to flipping the coin. Even Nick Kyrgios asked the chair umpire regarding who has the biggest curls, all the other three players and the umpire herself could not control their laughter. However, the umpire took the question very sportingly and said: “I am not going into that,” she said laughing.

The hilarious exchange did not end there, as Nick Kyrgios shouted ‘Siuuuu’ in the end as the others involved did not stop laughing. In a Grandslam tournament, the pressure is always high, and it is ideal to start the match on a lighter note. And who better than Nick Kyrgios to pull this off?
