Serena Williams

Serena Williams is arguably one of the greatest ever tennis player. The 23-time Grand Slam and 4-time Olympics Gold winner has been ruling the tennis courts for over 2 decades now.

With her glorified career and her hard earned victories, she sits on the top of the all-time earnings in the history of women’s tennis. While she has been an active philanthropist, Serena has deservedly used her money to get herself one of the grandest mansion.

The 39-year old global icon recently renovated her Miami mansion with the help of her sister Venus Williams‘ designing firm V-Starr. The house is minutes away from the houses of Serena’s parents and also Venus’ house.

The 7,323-square-foot home is now completely reimagined and is now a fully equipped and ultra-modern home. The expansive open concept family kitchen is an important spot of the house as Serena along with husband Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of Reddit and their daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.

On a special request by Serena, the living room has been converted into an art gallery. “When you walk in, it’s like walking into an art gallery,” says Serena. “That’s my favorite part of the house. It’s so unique. I’ve never seen anything like it.”

The standout features of the home are its heated floors in the bathrooms, a sauna in the gym, a wine cellar along with a wet bar adjacent to it, a terrace that offers both the indoor and outdoor living spaces with an infinity pool. It also has a Karaoke Room. Serena has also built a 620-square-foot closet and a private trophy room that display glimpses of her glorious career achievements.

However, Serena has made one major change to the house. The mansion previously had a tennis court for Serena’s practice which now has been removed. “I wanted to separate home from work. I love being home. When you have our job, you never get time to relax. So it’s good for me to be able to sit still and not do anything.” said Serena on her decision to remove the court.

The house surely suits the power couple of Serena and Alexis and they have made sure that their little princess Olympia lives like a princess in their pink-themed castle room.
