He attended Oklahoma State University, where he was a three-year starter and received the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award in his last year. The Steelers chose him in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

The pair made their romance public on Valentine’s Day 2021 with a Valentine’s Day Instagram post.
